The Lifelong Learning Platform will be holding its 8th Lifelong Learning Week on 3-7 December 2018 in Brussels. The LLL Week has become a milestone in the European education agenda, thanks to the support of civil society actors, Members of the European Parliament, and other representatives of the European institutions (European Commission, European Council, European Economic and Social Council).
The LLL Platform is proud to announce that the LLLWeek2018 will take place in cooperation with the Bulgaria and Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Youth Intergroup and the Lifelong Learning Interest Group of the European Parliament, as well as partners such as Public Libraries 2020 and Culture Action Europe.
The main topic of the week will be “Lifelong Learning Culture: a partnership for rethinking education”, the Platform’s theme of the year, envisaging the subject under three different sub-topics:
– Key competences and learning environments;
– Key competences and validation, recognition and accreditation;
– Key competences and holistic approaches to active citizenship through education and culture
This year, the LLLWeek can count on ten different events, covering all the spectrum of “Lifelong Learning Culture”. Curious to hear more about the MFF, the place of culture and active citizenship in education, or career guidance and intercultural learning ? Discover the programme !
