ATEE 2026 Annual Conference

Theme: Crossing Borders with and in Teacher Education

The Association for Teacher Education in Europe is happy to announce the 2026 Annual Conference hosted by the University of Białystok and the Faculty of Education.
The conference will take place in Białystok, Poland, and will be held in a special anniversary year, as ATEE celebrates its 50th anniversary. We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating this important milestone with the international teacher education community.
The conference will provide a space for critical dialogue, collaboration, and exchange on how teacher education crosses - and is shaped by - geographical, cultural, institutional, disciplinary, and digital borders.

  • practical details for planning your participation.

EU agenda Teachers & Trainers - LLL Week 2025 

SOLIDAR+ and Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) co-organised a stakeholder policy discussion on the forthcoming EU Teachers and Trainers Agenda within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Week 2025.
The meeting brought together policymakers, civil society organisations, teachers, and adult education representatives to reflect on current challenges in the teaching and training professions and to consider priorities for the upcoming EU initiative.

EU Promens Training Programme - Romania

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming online pre-training Information Workshop as part of the EU-PROMENS Training Programme, funded under the EU4Health initiative. The EU-PROMENS Training Programme, aims to enhance mental health capacity through multidisciplinary training for professionals across sectors such as health, education, social work, and justice. Webinar:  European University alliances and high school collaboration  

EUA has organised the webinar “European University alliances and high school collaboration”, a digital policy roundtable bringing together university representatives, partner schools, and European University Alliances to explore how collaboration between schools and higher education can be strengthened, developed, and embedded across regions and networks.

Date: 22 January 2026 - Time: 10:00–12:00 (CET)

The session will showcase good practices, key challenges, and success factors from ongoing initiatives, and discuss the role of European values and the added value that transnational alliances can provide. Through keynote contributions, presentations, and panel reflections, participants will gain insight into how joint initiatives can support young people, address regional needs, and contribute to a broader European educational landscape.
