Call for Input: EASPD Survey on Transitioning Young People with Disabilities into Employment

Organized by: European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD)

📅 Deadline to Respond: 19 June 2026

As part of the second phase of the EU Disability Employment Package, EASPD is developing a brand-new set of Guidelines for effective transition of young persons with disabilities from education to employment.

To ensure these guidelines are grounded in real-world expertise, they are seeking input from organizations and individuals across Europe through a dedicated stakeholder survey. This is a unique opportunity for ATEE members to directly influence EU-level policy and showcase successful local practices.

What does the survey cover?

  • Policy Frameworks: Laws, strategies, and funding mechanisms in your region that support this transition.
  • Good Practices: Concrete programs or services that have worked well and could inspire upscaling across Europe.

How to contribute:

  • Fill out the survey: It takes between 10–30 minutes. It is highly flexible; you can fill out just one section or both, and most questions are quick multiple-choice.
    [Access the Stakeholder Survey Here
  • Share resources via email: If you cannot take the survey but have useful materials, reports, or questions, you can send them directly to the team at [email protected].

OECD Webinar on Driving VET Innovation with AI

📅 Date: 23 June 2026

⏰ Time: 14:00 CEST | Online

Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the workforce, putting immense pressure on Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems to adapt quickly. But AI isn't just changing the skills students need, it is also transforming the very tools used to build educational programs.

How can AI be leveraged to design modern VET curricula and qualifications?

To explore this, the OECD is hosting a launch webinar for its brand-new report, Developing VET with AI. A panel of experts will dive into how artificial intelligence is streamlining processes that have traditionally been highly resource-intensive and time-consuming, including:

  • Updating occupational standards to match modern industry needs.
  • Designing agile, future-ready VET curricula.
  • Accelerating the development of official professional qualifications.

This session is highly recommended for VET researchers, teacher educators, and policymakers looking to understand the intersection of digital innovation and vocational training frameworks.
