We are proud to announce that the Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) is now officially a member of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030—a global alliance dedicated to addressing teacher-related challenges and advancing quality education worldwide.
This important step reflects ATEE’s continued commitment to strengthening teacher education, supporting the teaching profession, and contributing to international policy dialogue in line with global education priorities.
As part of this new collaboration, ATEE recently held a preliminary meeting with UNESCO to formally initiate the partnership. The meeting marked a promising start, allowing both parties to align on shared goals, explore areas of cooperation, and lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives.
Through its engagement in the Task Force, ATEE looks forward to:
- Contributing European perspectives to global discussions on teacher education
- Collaborating with international partners on research, policy, and practice
- Supporting efforts to ensure qualified, well-supported teachers for all learners
We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring and remain dedicated to working collectively towards achieving the goals of Education 2030.
Stay tuned for further updates as this collaboration develops.
