Three different types of conferences are organised and hosted by institutions which are members of the Association:
The main Annual Conference takes place every summer with a specific theme on teacher education.
The Winter Conference is organised by one of the RDCs of the Associations.
The Spring Conference used to be held in one of the Baltic countries attracting local teachers and teacher educators, but has now become an international conference.
Winter conference
The Winter Conference has been decided by the ATEE Administrative Council for the purpose of discussing and deepening the issues studied by the Research and Development Communities of the Association (RDCs). Year in, year out the RDCs may widen their research by means of specific conferences open to European and Non-European experts.
Spring conference
This two-day conference creates a lifely platform for exchanging research and practice and attracts mainly teacher educators from all over Europe.
Annual conference
This three-day conference is a meeting place and platform for teacher educators and researchers from all over the world. The event combines inspiring keynotes, a wide variety of papers on research and practice of TE, and active working sessions organised by the Research and Development Communities (RDCs) in a friendly and lively atmosphere.
