In the framework of the LOOP project, the Institute of Education in Lisbon is reaching out to teachers and school leaders in Europe, inviting them to respond to a brief survey to understand what their perceptions and experiences are about teachers’ induction programmes based on peer-mentoring.
These surveys aim to analyse the current professional development practices available for teachers when starting their careers and their impact on new teachers’ motivation. At the same time, the surveys will help to disclose new career opportunities for more experienced teachers.
The perception of the respondents will strengthen the results of the field trials conducted under our project and ensure the triangulation of LOOP results.
Two target groups are addressed through different questionnaires:
The LOOP Project (LINK) is a 3-year project funded by the Erasmus+ programme (Project no.626148-EPP-1-2020-2-PT-EPPKA3-PI-POLICY). The project is focused on providing a teachers’ induction programme based on mentoring to support new teachers’ integration into the profession and smooth transition to the school context and gathers 12 partners from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia.
