ED-TED is an Erasmus+ funded project that aims to establish a European professional network and communities of higher education teacher educators to support their professional development—both virtually and face-to-face—as they strive to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes (i.e., competencies) to address issues of equity and diversity throughout teacher education programs. As part of this initiative, a series of webinars will be organised and delivered.

The aim of the project is to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion in teacher education across various European countries—including Finland, Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, and Germany—with a particular focus on the role of teacher educators.

We, the ED-TED team, are delighted to inform you that on May 26th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (CET), a half-day webinar focused on policies for equity and diversity in teacher education will be organised and delivered by the University of Minho, Portugal.
The key outcome of this webinar is to discuss a policy brief, with expected attendance from policymakers, teacher education program directors, and teacher educators. Please find the tentative agenda attached.
Your voice and contribution to this topic are highly valuable, and we would be honoured if you could join us and participate as a key informant in your role as a policymaker, teacher education program director, or teacher educator.
