TEPE Webinar Teacher Career Pathways – 16 September

On Thursday 16 September, the Teacher Education Policy in Europe Network will organise a webinar on Teacher Career Policies.

The webinar will focus on the question how teachers’ professional growth can be formalized and recognized in career opportunities and career pathways for teachers. The webinar aims to identify the current state of art, challenges and opportunities, both with respect to national policies and the implications for teacher education. Key presenters are Barbara Tournier and Chloé Chimier from UNESCO IIEP, prof. Michael Schratz from the University of Innsbruck and Marco Snoek from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

In keynotes the outcomes of a UNESCO/IIEP study on teacher career reforms will be presented as well as insights and experiences from the Netherlands and Austria. In subgroups national dillemmas and issues for further discussion will be explored, both at the level of national teacher policies and the level of teacher education policies.

More information and the registration form can be found at the TEPE website. https://projects.au.dk/tepe/tepe-events/event/artikel/teacher-career-pathways/.

Participation in the webinar is free.
