The European Commission Expert Group on Informatics Education, to which Professor Cornelia Connolly of the University of Galway Ireland, representing ATEE was appointed, has published its report.
The “Guidelines for Teaching Informatics: Practical Strategies for European Classrooms” are officially published, here. This marks an important milestone in shared efforts to support high-quality informatics education across Europe.
The guidelines are part of a broader package of 4 complementary guidelines addressing key aspects of digital education and digital skills: AI, disinformation, digital education content and informatics; and will be translated into all 24 EU languages to ensure broad accessibility and impact.
